UPGRADE AND MAINTENANCE WORKS ON ROUTE Nº 9 AND ACCESS ROADS

It represents a major road intervention that boosts connectivity and development in the region. This project not only drives tourism, benefiting thousands of residents and visitors, but also contributes significantly to the progress and integration of the Paraguayan Chaco. The construction of a 38-kilometre stretch of paved highway is carried out by Ecomipa S.A., under a subcontract with TOCSA, the main contractor for the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC).

This stretch includes the installation of culverts, bridges, access roads to rural properties and connections between main highways, as well as horizontal and vertical signage, shoulders, safety barriers, and maintenance of the existing road.

Additionally, the project comprises the construction of a toll station, a roundabout in the city of Pozo Colorado, and the creation of an access road to the Gral. Díaz junction. These facilities are designed to improve traffic flow and road safety.

The works, carried out by Ecomipa S.A., have been executed following the highest quality standards, respecting the environment and current technical regulations, and have involved qualified Paraguayan labour for over 36 months.
